I wonder how many players in states neighboring Texas are being heavily recruited by Hawaii right now? Would be a good idea to get them tickets to the games, not sure how much limitation there is on the program as far as what they can pay for in terms of travel and stay. Hopefully will do so for recruits that have already verballed like Stella. There is a limitation as to total visits for recruits that they can take. They'd have to go on their own time. I think our class is full for 2023. 2024 is the interesting year--Igiede, Wagoner, Akana will be seniors with an extra year of COVID eligibility. Both the schools and athletes will have basically fulfilled their commitment to each other after that. It's basically a re-recruiting process. Igiede will have professional options, and could basically transfer to any school she wants to. The school will have to decide if it's worth offering them a scholarship for another year.

The girl got size and athleticism. We also need a replacement for Amber in 2024 and Mili could come right in and play right away.

Ah I see, and it would count if they were comping their visit to A&M for those games? I should have clarified. Seeing as how it’s probably a pricey trip for recruits to come out to Hawaii, I figure it would make sense to get athletes that have their eyes on specially out to see the team at the tournament. Just not sure if they have limitations on that since it’s not an official visit to the Manoa campus itself.

A different look and feel.
Looking at the girls practice and seeing a very different but positive no drama feel. Amber is looking extremely mature and I’m seeing the same out of the the girls she started with. Westerberg looks fit curious to see how she does. This team looks more well rounded not saying that every team doesn’t need or would like another BVS but this team I would think has more depth. I’m predicting some great things from our front with Amber Westerberg and Wagner.
Aloha and see you all at the Stan.

Hoping for old school Wahine in being tough to score against, with Igiede dominating and people emerging on the pins!

Would not be surprised if Robyn uses Amber the way Dave used Teee. Teee was a Starting Middle on their National Championship team, but she also played all 6 rotations, hitting from the Right and Left Side, plus from the Back Row. Dave would take Teee out of the back row for one rotation just to rest her, so she would not be warn out. By Dave having Teee play all 6 rotations, opponents had a very difficult time tracking her, not knowing where she was going to take a swing from. So I am thinking Robyn may do the same with Amber.
