I do wish Anna will be back but she has been out for at least 2 seasons and not only that but she is really not able to perform any type of hard core physical activity. . To hope that she plays volleyball is asking much. I just hope she can resume her life normally as possible and not let her illness affect her life. The odds are that Anna is probably done with volleyball. Let's all pray for a miracle but let wish for Anna to be in good health for the future first and foremost. Volleyball is not that important in the big picture. Maybe she could get a schollie through some other way? Yes, she can. She is an engineer major and also does tons of community services around town. Maybe being on an athletic scholarship gives Anna some joy and make her feels like she is still part of the team so Robyn will keep her on an athletic scholarship. As much as Robyn probably wants to use that scholarship for another player, It's Anna's one for four years and she hasn't done anything to have her scholarship "revoked". It's not right to urge her to give it up. Anna is already facing a tough battle with her illness and to tell her to go look for another scholarship is probably not what Robyn is all about. Also the athletic scholarship will allow her to eat with the team and also receive medical care so it makes sense she remains on her scholarship until she graduates. If anything, I hope Anna sticks around for 4 years, get involves in the Senior night celebration and then get honored like all the others Wahine. She deserves that much for all she has been thru and still wants to help this team win.

Yeah I also think that Anna will stay if she decides to even if it means losing a schollie for someone that could play. Same thing happened to Greeley who played solely DS after her surgery. I think we will be okay next year and hopefully will have a better (unquestionable) season. Anna could keep on doing what she does from the sidelines.

Isn't Anna academically a Senior next year anyway though and would be graduating? I do think she will remain on the team for her last year of education. If she wanted she could get an academic scholarship for her 5th year.

Do not count out Annika De Goede, next year. Expecting some big things from her next year, which will be her Junior Year. She will be in the mix for the Starting Opposite position next season. It took Braelyn Akana till her Junior year to show what she can do. Thinking the same with Annika De Goede. Some players just take a little longer.

Yes she definitely can but the extra money has to come from somewhere so what’s I’m saying is Robyn is not going to push the issue. Robyn knows what Anna is going thru at such young age that Robyn is not worrying about that extra one scholarship. The scholarship is Anna’s for 4 years and it would be up to Anna if she wants another form of scholarship or wants to keep her athletic one. Anna’s illness is not some small issue. It could affect her drastically down the line. Anna’s happiness is priority #1. Having one extra scholarship to give out is nothing compared to what Anna is going thru.

Congrats to the Wahine for taking a big step closer to winning yet another BW Title. Impressed with Riley and Braelyn for stepping up their game this season. Riley with her long brown hair kinda resembles the Cindy Campbell character in the Scary Movie series.

Just dropping in to share my own personal excitement about Mili Sylvester!!!! So happy to see it after all the ups and downs and transfers.
Tbh I don’t think Leoniak, Demirtas, or Johnson would have beat out Caylen Alexander so blessing in disguise at the end of the day

Have to say that it's impossible to not like Hawaii as a team or their fans.
Always class acts.
