I always liked Williams, she was a fun hitter to see the Bows play against. I hope she finds a team that can help her get even better.

If UH doesn’t bring coach Ang back then I hope they can at least get a hitting coach. Also hate to dwell on it but with the amount of transfers and hitting on the North Carolina team, I’m wondering if Leo will get any playing time. She would have for sure been one of the starters for UH but oh well. Who do you guys think will be the shining player next year besides Amber. I’m betting on Johnson; She’s like a stronger Brooke lol! Was hoping Kanani would volunteer but running sold out clinics seems more appealing. Wags should get better next season. I’m thinking Annika offensively may be a star outside of Amber. Annika will most likely be focused on front row duties. Johnson has a vertical and arm like BVS but lacks the amazing all-around game. Hoping that Johnson can develop much more, she showed some greatness during the TAMU match. A lot of people talk about Johnsons vertical, but frankly, from what I saw, it's just average. She's taller than Danielson, but you could noticeably tell Kanani got up there, I can't with Johnson.

Imagine Kanani teaching Mia how to fly

I'm thinking Kash is either going up the 405 or 110
Kash with Robin, that alone would be worth the price of admission, lol

K. Williams leaving CSULB will be addition by subtraction for Beach. Her athleticism was evident, but so were her weaknesses. Beach inconsistency was a direct reflection of Williams game. When hot, she was great. But when not, her body language alone was so bad that it called for her to be benched. Hildebrand I'm guessing isn't unhappy she's moving on. And Robyn won't take on or keep any player that isn't all about the team, hard work, and at all times carrying on a proud and hard earned Wahine tradition. IOW, more's involved than how high they jump or how hard they can swing.

According to Cindy, Tom Pestolesi who's still the HC of IVC's Beach team, says Rasmussen is playing beach VB for them. Thought that was interesting.

Seems kind of strange that she would go from a four year program back to a two year program as a player, but maybe she has eligibility left? IDK.

I'm thinking she would not pass her up if the opportunity was possible

How many scholarships will Coach have for the 2022 season? Just wondering, due to Edmonds and Alexander would be two. I'm guessing. Any thoughts? I counted two and if Byrd grad, three

Do you guys think the coaches are still looking for an OH transfer? There seems to be some still out there that everyone is talking about in the transfer thread. Although I like our Wahine players now, I just want a big transfer to come in so Hawaii can sound relevant again lol. It’s always the big schools getting these highly recruited transfers

It’s always the big schools getting these highly recruited transfers Probably not the first priority to bring in another OH in 2022. Hawaii has Wagoner, Johnson, Westerberg, De Goede, Demirtas, Akana, Alexander, and Hamm competing at the pins. Likely looking to bring in another middle is the higher priority. Another DS/Lib that could compete for the Lib spot might also be welcomed. With the right addition at middle, and perhaps DS/Lib, then Igiede might get a look at what she could do on the pin. We saw a little of that this past season, with Igeide taking some swings mostly from the right. I doubt that's a priority to convert Igeide, but also doubt Robyn would rule it out.
