Do you guys think the coaches are still looking for an OH transfer? There seems to be some still out there that everyone is talking about in the transfer thread. Although I like our Wahine players now, I just want a big transfer to come in so Hawaii can sound relevant again lol. It’s always the big schools getting these highly recruited transfers Probably not the first priority to bring in another OH in 2022. Hawaii has Wagoner, Johnson, Westerberg, De Goede, Demirtas, Akana, Alexander, and Hamm competing at the pins. Likely looking to bring in another middle is the higher priority. Another DS/Lib that could compete for the Lib spot might also be welcomed. With the right addition at middle, and perhaps DS/Lib, then Igiede might get a look at what she could do on the pin. We saw a little of that this past season, with Igeide taking some swings mostly from the right. I doubt that's a priority to convert Igeide, but also doubt Robyn would rule it out. Hawaii is actively looking for a PIN hitter.

As well they should. IMHO Hawaii desperately needs that "go-to" terminator on the left.....

Michigan State hitters are on the move. Hawaii has the inside connection Franklin is likely going to be sought after, but she's the one to go for, even though she's young too.

What about biamba kangele? I read in the transfer thread that she has a really good serve as well.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Michigan State transfers are being looked at either. Edmonds is here and the players seem to be transferring because the coach is retiring. Michigan Sate struggled in the Big 10, but there's some point getters on that team that competed in the best conference.
An outside hitter that can terminate and another solid DS is really all Hawaii needs to round out an already capable roster.

I don’t think we’ll get another middle til 2023, as long as Anna and Amber both don’t get injured the middle position is locked. If an injury Tiffany would go back to her natural position she blocks well, we might just not set her as much in that rotation kinda like dooley when she was at Florida. Honestly Hawaii needs a BVS replacement, Mia is getting there but not yet.

I agree tho, middle will be fine with Igiede, Kiraly, and maybe Westerberg and Akana shifting some focus back to the middle.

Michigan State hitters are on the move. Hawaii has the inside connection Will be interesting to see if Hawaii can land one of the Michigan State hitters. Don't know if she is in the transfer portal or anything, but soon after Edmonds committed to Hawaii, her teammate Emma Monks began to follow the Hawaii women's volleyball IG account. However, it could totally just be Monks supporting her teammate. Monks would help add to the MB depth, though if that international Polish MB is coming, then it may be less likely.

There's still a lot of good transfers out there. Most of the "A" transfers are gone, but we had slim slim chance of landing those anyway. Lots of solid B/B+ players who can definitely help the team.

Polish pipeline is most likely pau. Ouch, I guess the Leo transfer might have factored into it. Hopefully you mean just the recent recruit and not the other future ones.
