I bought a 3 game package (1 ticket for each) for the University of Kentucky against Wisconsin on Sept 9, Louisville on Sept 14, and Nebraska on Sept 18. I just committed to being the director of a film project and my dream of seeing the Huskers play volleyball in person for the first time is not going to happen. I got a great deal on the tickets. $32 dollars for the whole package. The seat is in the 8th row of Section B, which is on the sideline and the end of the court. Tickets are to be downloaded to a smart phone via the UK app. If anybody wants to take these off my hands, please send me a message. I’d like it !

Jordyn was exciting for me to watch and hopefully she’ll be able to play some games this year. Bella looked like a veteran on the court and should pick up right where she left off last season. Would love to see the connection between Z and Grome get better, but Z was terminating per usual when she got a good set. Rollins was a little timid to start, but played very smart and was contacting the ball nice and high. Think she’ll have a good year with a team that supports her. Lamb was hammering the ball whenever she got the chance. She’ll just need to pick up that out of system game. Thank you for this! I saw the UKVB twitter account post the score from the first set and someone must have told them not to do it again because that was the only score they posted all day lol. Did the backups play at all? Anything notable from them? Today might be the last day we see a few of them for a while. What about Rutherford?

This will be an interesting season for UK... a lot of folks seem to assume they will win the SEC easily again, but I still don't see the type of team they enjoyed from 2017 through 2021.,, feels more like 2013 through 2016 when they had to grind it out in the SEC and didn't bring the needed firepower to the NCAA tournament.

Agree, I think they might be a little overrated but I still hope they prove me wrong. They dont seem to have the depth.

They dont seem to have the depth. if you take out the outside hitters from every top team and compare Kentucky to them, they're almost as good as anyone. I have faith that Rollins can be a solid performer for them and then even if lamb doesn't perform they have a lot of talent on the court. OH is a hugely important piece but really its the only spot the team has a question mark. Grome, Beavin, tealer, Rutherford are all in the top tier of their positions in terms of who's returning to NCAA. whoever plays second MB will be good to. if they can get one outside to produce some good numbers, they have the rest of the talent they need to win big matches

Rollins and lamb may not end up being elite outsides but they aren’t awful. Lamb in particular has a ton of outside. I’m excited to see her develop

I like to think "realistic"... wary of folks who's fandom emotionally compromises their evaluations, so like to ask probing questions to discern between the kool-aid and the reality.

Hopefully you're not calling us inbred. as a Kentucky fan I can confirm that our basketball fans are worse than Texas and Nebraska volleyball fans combined, and its not even close. Kentucky basketball fandom is maybe the most unbearable sports fandom in the world.

I wouldn't call readily saying this team isn't the same caliber as the 2017-2021 teams before we've seen a single match, or expecting us to nab the #1 recruit at every position "realistic." Seems clear to me you are drinking the hyper critical kool-aid, which from experience, I know tastes pretty good!

Kentucky still has the talent on the roster. like I've said before, if you look at setter/middles/libero/opp/ds combined Kentucky has as good of talent as almost any other team in the country. Rollins has shown that she can be a strong player (its been a while but clearly the ability is there) and lamb is a solid player who will hopefully come into her own. lamb doesn't even need to be great, if she and Rollins can just be "good" Kentucky will compete with the top teams
