Thought I would casually move this up to the front page for more discussion.

I hear Penn state is going hard for Fisher. Anyone has any insider info on that?

Wait I thought Fisher got his contract extended through 2023, or am I imagining things. I definitely remember reading something about a contract extension.

Tons of hints that read as all but confirmation.

State College is very very different Yeah, the prison on the side of the road is the gateway to State College. Ok in all seriousness, State College seems fine if you are going for the college town. I've only visited. Pittsburgh has a metro area of 1.5 million and culturally has a lot more going on, and down town and Pitt are reasonably close. But, money is money, if that's what is happening. Pitt got to the FF, for sure, but the Big Ten has a long tradition of excellence. Too be clear, I am a fan of Pitt, have several Pitt alum in my family. But I can see wanting to jump to Big Ten. The rise of the ACC, in my opinion, is due to the strength of its current makeup of coaches. If they leave, I think it is not sustainable.

If someone wants someone bad enough, they will pay the buyout. I know contracts can be bought out. I just interpreted it as Pitt willing to invest in Fisher and build their volleyball program. I remember his name was tossed around for other coaching positions in previous years as well. Also if Fisher to PSU is true, I wonder if Dalton knew about any of this during the recruiting process?

Not after they beat Penn state in the tourney, being ranked higher than them 2 seasons in a row, and got Gray on the team. But then, never say never. Coaches? Probably not. Kellen's wife has a big job in the Medical Center and Lindsey's husband is a soccer coach at Pitt. But again, never say never.

Nobody thought Rockwell was comming back to coaching either so you never know

How do you embrace a top transfer to commit (sign) as well as a host of others and then literally move in down the road?
