So to confirm as of now for next year Pitt has NINE pin hitters (including Fairbanks) and ONE middle??? how does that even happen...maybe Fisher plans on moving one of the players to middle?

They had one middle transfer out last season and one quit volleyball entirely, so maybe he was banking on those two sticking around, or at least one of them, and now he’s found himself with just one middle after losing both. |

As far as the pins are concerned Pitt is looking great. But the middle is a problem. I believe Nwokolo was expected to use her COVID year but she chose not to cos she wants to start Law School. The team is clearly in a bind here and after McGhee, Dotson and Booth chose to go elsewhere, I'm hoping Ofoegbu is coming to us. Maybe even a freshman? Russ had a great year at Maryland and maybe more could've been done to keep her if the picture was clear at the time |
