What I gathered from the scrimmage.
Grey is going to be dominant
Rachel Jespen could very well see some time
Vasquez Gomez is really good
Dalton can crank it, but needs to work defensively
Buzzerio is a solid right side. She will not set.
Fairbanks and Akeo will run a 6-2
Serve receive needs to improve
Pitt is looking good

Excited to see Pitt really hit a groove last night against BYU! They’ll keep getting better once Akeo is back BUT it’s extremely helpful that Ennis has gotten better and better with each match!

Pitt gets its first sweep in ACC play, handling Duke -10, -23 and -11.
Hitting % were: .322 to .053.
Pitt had a balanced attack led by Buzzerio (10k .563), Dalton (8k .278), Gray (7k .333) and VVG (7k .250).
Duke's 3rd loss in a row. Gracie Johnson got almost 3 times as many sets as any teammate and finished with 12k-9e-34a (.088).
Duke's other OH hit negative .200; no word yet on whether it was due to mistakenly hearing a naughty word from the crowd.
