Absolutely outstanding week for Boney. Just when it seemed like maybe some of her PT would be taken by Nyambio, she steps up with this kind of week. Love to see it!

Absolutely outstanding week for Boney. Just when it seemed like maybe some of her PT would be taken by Nyambio, she steps up with this kind of week. Love to see it! A very encouraging development, especially given all of the focus and attention on Robinson in the non-con. She's already our best blocker and if she can continue to improve offensively then it takes pressure off of Mruzik to constantly have to deliver. Of course all of that is predicated by good passing. |

ABSOLUTELY! Grant was great, but I've almost come to expect that level out of her - - she brings it pretty consistently. Beals only had 5 digs but I was as impressed as I've ever been with her in the DS role. Murray and Mruzik were at the top of their games as well. Though it should be noted (and I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer) Penn State came in to last weekend 12th in the B1G in serving. |

I'll admit, I only have FB anymore because of Rosen Reports. Them not being live makes me miss them when they happen, as this came yesterday. Much more generic this season than in years past. |

Anyone else get annoyed that we don't seem to tweet out set score graphics anymore? Used to be so easy to check Twitter to see what happened... Glad to take care of business in front of a big crowd at State.

Glad to take care of business in front of a big crowd at State. It is flipping U-M, with a ton of resources, that should seem to be something an SID at home or traveling with the team can do! I hope they can update 6 set losses to Wisconsin in the next 2 weeks, which would make me very happy, but I hope the SIDs can post results and the Badgers can win, and I am in no way discounting a talented U-M squad versus the Badgers! |

Glad to take care of business in front of a big crowd at State. The team does have a new SID this year, but I've never been one to rely on the Twitter feed for score updates. Live Stats gives you real time scoring, why wouldn't you follow that? |

Live Stats gives you real time scoring, why wouldn't you follow that? What’s this now, fourth one in five seasons? Majority of the time I do follow on live stats, But sometimes when I’m out and about getting a link to live stats is a longer process than the 3 steps it takes to get the score from Twitter. It’s also easier when following all the different games in the B1G. Ultimately it’s picking nits. I’m just someone who fell into a routine of being able to depend on that being there, and now it isn’t. |

Nice little tweet today from the NCAA featuring Jess Robinson, who has blossomed this year both on and off the court. She worked with Detroit PAL and others this summer to host youth volleyball camps in Detroit. "Currently less than 10% of collegiate volleyball players are Black- which is often attributed to the high cost of play in middle and high school (club fees average $4,000/yr). If we want to continue to grow a love for the sport, we must open the doors to everyone." It's been great seeing her campers at the Michigan home matches this season, enthusiastically cheering her and the team on. She's a special player and even more special person. |

When there's so much to compete with on any given Sunday, it's awesome to see numbers like this for any volleyball match, but ESPECIALLY love seeing them on a Michigan one!

BTW there's a new Rosen Report out but it is only :26 seconds. It cuts off in the middle of Coach speaking so I'm guessing another flub by the new SID. Not bothering with posting until it gets fixed.
