BTW there's a new Rosen Report out but it is only :26 seconds. It cuts off in the middle of Coach speaking so I'm guessing another flub by the new SID. Not bothering with posting until it gets fixed. The 26-second version has been out for 24 hours now. Not sure we were going to get anything too enlightening anyway, but between not doing these live anymore and now not really doing it at all, they're basically useless. Definitely planning on watching Saturday's match on ESPN though. Hopefully Friday's match against IU can boost some confidence and get them ready to play Wisconsin. |

Am I by myself here when I enjoyed these being live and when they actually talked about the players a little bit? The SID is not really giving us much to work with this season, it's been disappointing. No mention at all about the Ohio State match? How he thinks the 6-2 is working? Thin gruel. |

The problem is how do you keep Nyambio out. Here is what I would do: 5-1 with Johnson (sub Dowd in the back row for her if she is struggling), try Pertofsky on the Left side and have Murray or Jacobs DS for her. Nyambio on the RS. Edit: I am wondering if Scottee Johnson can't do the jumping and blocking that would be needed if she played all the way around. Bringing this comment over from the match thread. Lets not forget that Scottee ran a 5-1 last season with so-so results. She's a better defender in general but never developed a connection with her middles. Michigan is in complete disarray right now. They are struggling to put service pressure on their opponents. Mruzik is having a tough year all around; its easy to load up on her when your other OH's are hitting negative and sub .100. They are not playing with any competitive fire at all on the court. So much was made of this team being a year older and not as green, but the B1G has beaten them down. We are looking up at Northwestern and Indiana in the standings with six matches to go. Time is running out to save this season. |

The second example may be nit picky, but as a competitive person that irks me a little. |

I just re-watched the Purdue match (torturing myself, I know).
Michigan looks like a team that is counting down the weeks until the season is over. Very little fight.

They look like they are just happy to be there, having a fun rec match in the IM. Same thing with the coaching staff. I'm all about the family atmosphere but at some point there has to be some accountability when one of your kids doesn't do their chores. Who is the floor leader on this team? Is this how the seniors really want to go out? |

This was the first I'd seen or heard of it. Not that that means anything. Now we've got to hope the setter from Nebraska can push the incumbent going forward and help this offense reach its potential. |
