Any rumors on transfers SD is looking at? Conversation has been so quiet compared to other programs. Sure hoping they have a setter and 1-2 pin hitters in their sights.

Sure hoping they have a setter and 1-2 pin hitters in their sights. i think sd was considering parra but i think she's going to tcu but it's not official yet...setter-wise podraza is still available...she wants a scholarship & probably will not make a decision until later...she graduates in may |

USD should be very good if they can get a top flight setter through the portal. Also another middle or OH would be helpful. Another year with Lukes, Frohling and Blackwill has a lot of promise Ok, I know this thread has been repurposed for 2023, but I just have to say how beautifully this aged š |

2023 Roster with incoming Freshman included. Not holding my breath for any developments in the portal. Shaping up to be a very different kind of season, but I love the potential storylines. My guess is that USD is all in on Tercariol at this point. Note that all of the L/DS players are listed as such, except Allen, who is just listed as L. So many questions, especially on the pins. I, for one, will enjoy getting the answers and enjoying every second of it no matter what the outcome (well, maybe not every second).

I would be very happy to see Tercariol have a stellar senior year. It wouldn't be the first time that a setter had an incredible senior campaign under Petrie's tutelage.
I'm curious which pins step up with Frohling/Lukes graduating. Pries will definitely be a starter. She did a pretty good job in 2021. The other OH position and the OPP position seem wide open. Maybe Hester improved a lot in her redshirt year? Wasn't she an Under Armour 1st Team AA? Beach looks like she has a lot of potential.
They probably won't reach the heights of last season, but USD has consistently pulled the best out of their players every year, and I'm sure that'll be the case next season as well.

So where does Anni fit - she certainly has most recent experience of the other setters on the roster. Can she compete for the starting position, or is this just a depth filler. |
