Does no one else know why USD scheduled a pre-season match with Boston College? You might check the BC roster for any clues. It’s been talked about. The issue isn’t why. It’s whether USD will take an RPI hit or not. It’s common knowledge Petrie’s daughter plays for BC. |

Add Georgia! Interesting that the Bulldogs have scheduled 30 teams. USD still has room to add. I think that they’ll be at the Georgia Tech tournament starting September 15. Most likely , they will be playing Georgia Tech, Georgia, and Howard. I’m not sure though. |

Okay so updated 2023 roster: OH: Amber Stivrins (5th year), Kylie Pries (SR), Annika Hester (RS/JR), Neomi Beach (FR), Ella Durham (FR) OPP: Grace Oliva (SO) Could also see one of the OH in this spot. MB: Leyla Blackwell (SR), Haylee Stoner (JR), Maya Kitna (RS/FR) S: Anni Evans (SR), Isadora Tercariol (RS/SR), Alex Hoglund (SR) L/DS: Madi Allen (SR), Olivia Bennett (SO), Anna Jaworowski (JR), Kate Galvin (SO) Are we done, or is one more transfer still possible? There are a lot of unknowns about the 2023 team. Many are concerned about setting, others about libero and some with the pins.
I think that our staying at the 2022 level of performance hinges primarily on one person. That would be Annika Hester. If she can start strong and continue to develop through the season, then I feel we have a chance to make it to and advance in the NCAA tourney.
She is the only other player besides Leyla Blackwell that can give us height to neutralize taller teams. Let us hope that she is 100% dialed in and ready to roll.
