Karch is clearly trying to test out the newer players, but doesn’t send the rookies out at the same time because that would probably be chaos. If Courtney or MBH were playing, we would probably see them mixed in over Kingdon. I do wish we would see more of Bajema but Karch probably doesn’t think her passing is ready. I’m glad Karch gave a long leash to Frantti against Thailand. What a turn around. KRob and JWO seem pretty capable of pinching on serve receive. Bajema had the worse kill percentage of anyone last week as well . So it’s not just passing Did you have the list of the hitting percentage from week 1?

It kinda confuses me. They have positive and perfect passing percentages and the graphics during the game for each team. So in theory they could publish those on an individual level. Even if they are still poorly tracked, it would be an improvement over these vague stats that they give.

Pretty sure she's in the bottom of the OHs depth for team USA. She can't even beat the worst OH of any team here in VNL. #Fact You've exclusively hated on Kingdon as if you’re getting paid by the post. It’s giving weird Sure is…..you can hide behind the theory that pro athletes are public figures and fair game for criticism, but that’s no excuse for being a D-Bag. Constant dragging of players isn’t a sign of, or promoting good mental health.

For the sake of her professional career, Cuttino should have stayed in the middle in the NCAA.

Has rettke ever played opposite? Not that I remember. She's not going to for team USA either with Drews and JT there.

Is Cuttino really THAT bad? Asking for someone who is only following the VNL via volleytalk

Is Cuttino really THAT bad? Asking for someone who is only following the VNL via volleytalk Yes she seems uncoordinated and makes some bad errors. She had a few good flashes in system but she doesn’t really swing out of system and she played ok against Bulgaria which was the worse team she played. Her defense is also bad

Is Cuttino really THAT bad? Asking for someone who is only following the VNL via volleytalk i might be VERY wrong here. But do we think that her friendship with JP is what brought her back in the gym? I imagine that Karch and staff get input from players on who could translate well into the system (clearly Cuttino is not showing that) and they get a chance/second chance. Cuttino could very well get Simone Lee’ed right out of the gym after this week’s VNL. Aka, you got your chance, it didn’t pan out, see you at Pan Am then never again.
