She didnt have any kills before getting pulled has anyone noticed that she kind of puts her hitting hand into a fist as she’s swinging and then opens up her hand right before making contact? I’ve wondered if that has something to do with why she often mi%*$#s/has weird contact when hitting |

Is Cuttino really THAT bad? Asking for someone who is only following the VNL via volleytalk Yes she seems uncoordinated and makes some bad errors. She had a few good flashes in system but she doesn’t really swing out of system and she played ok against Bulgaria which was the worse team she played. Her defense is also bad maybe she was just playing at the peak of her ability but she didnt actually look that bad at CWC last year for Minas. In fact against Imoco she led the way to a win in the first set (before Imoco turned it around 3-1). I didnt really watch Minas after that so i was surprised how bad she looked |

From what I remember she rarely swung out of system at all, like her timing is always messed up and she just tips |

I remember a few years back I was so excited Cuttino was getting a chance in the gym because she is such a physical player, but after watching her last pro season/this vnl, I think its fair to say she hasn't developed the way I thought she would. I will say though I am extremely high on Reed. Don't know if she'll break into JT/Drews level but she has proved to be a very good backup.

For the sake of her professional career, Cuttino should have stayed in the middle in the NCAA. Unfortunately, we didn't have that luxury at Purdue in 2016 😕 She did move back to the middle in the latter half of her senior year, while also swinging on the pins in different rotations. |
