Yea I watched the imocco match and she looked really good.. maybe the connections we’re a bit off yesterday too. If you look at the two errors avid posted those just look like poor timing and coordination. On the second one she is late, out jumps the ball and try’s to correct it and looks like she connected with her wrist but word on the street is she didnt look good in the other games last week also She looked ok in the first game.. against china she made some bad errors but she didn’t look horrible and Hancock set her all three games. From what I remember she rarely swung out of system at all, like her timing is always messed up and she just tips

Cuttino trying to dig is perhaps the worst thing I’ve seen in international volleyball since that Costa Rica match last week.

I remember a few years back I was so excited Cuttino was getting a chance in the gym because she is such a physical player, but after watching her last pro season/this vnl, I think its fair to say she hasn't developed the way I thought she would. I will say though I am extremely high on Reed. Don't know if she'll break into JT/Drews level but she has proved to be a very good backup.

For the sake of her professional career, Cuttino should have stayed in the middle in the NCAA. Unfortunately, we didn't have that luxury at Purdue in 2016 😕 She did move back to the middle in the latter half of her senior year, while also swinging on the pins in different rotations.

For the sake of her professional career, Cuttino should have stayed in the middle in the NCAA. I would guess she makes better bucks at OPP. Even tho I don’t think she’s good enough to be a high level OPP for Team USA, Cuttino could still have a good pro career on the RS. MB is a very crowded position as well.

Has rettke ever played opposite? Whenever I’ve seen Rettke take swings off two feet, I’m not seeing much of a vertical. Her slide seems to give her more lift. Even her Badger teammate (I forget the other 6’8 girls name) has a better vert. Let’s face it, not every 6’8 player is meant to be a Gamova. But Rettke is still a special player and MB is the right position for her. Just needs to work on her reads mostly.
