The original source of the Karch's Kumbaya meme was a response to his clumsy handling of the Logan Tom dismissal from the NT and then the racist debacle of the Hooker imbroglio. He is lucky no journalist ever took time to reveal the inner story on that mess. It was a way of mocking him for the excuses he and his apparatchiks' made for his leadership decisions. Forgotten but not forgiven by many who over time have just moved on. Like our Founding Fathers his legacy will be known for his successes and not his failures. are there any factual things that backup the claim that hookers dismissal was racially motivated? Hooker would not have fit into the system Karch wanted. considering there have been multiple black women who have started on the national team under Karch im not sure im buying this whole racist thing. seems like a cop out excuse from someone who is a hooker fan. Karch has shown that he has absolutely 0 time for people who aren't team orientated. I think its the consensus that hooker didn't fit that team first mentality, not that she got kicked off because she's black. that's a huge and baseless accusation. im not saying I agree with Karch asking hooker to leave, but claiming the reason he did is because she's black is asinine to me |

So glad KK got unracist last year and a handful of black players were able to help USA win the Olympics. |

Racist and KK just don’t fit this argument. its clearly just someone who is bitter about the situation with hooker. Not every unfortunate or bad thing that happens to a black person is due to racism. The last two olympics, 3 of the 7 'starters' on usa were black. hooker and tom were both asked to leave because they weren't what he was looking for. |

I say hes more in the wrong than she was. I feel for her, and people can say all they want about her, but she was dismissed from the team yet still pursued a professional career while having THREE kids and having to live apart from them to play the sport she loves. when they won gold at the olympics, i saw a well cultivated team culture, not a mess. IDC what people say. for the same reasons why witnesses have to be cross examined, i don't find screenshots provided by one side of the story particularly convincing.
