Any news on big west teams and which big schools they’ll be playing during non conference play. I have seen lbsu vs Nebraska so far and UCdavis vs Texas.

I would prefer that the top BW teams not play the Nebraska’s of the world, LBSU plays a single match on their home court outside a preseason tournament setting. It would be hard for any team to go on their home court and pull off the upset. I would prefer that the BW top teams play road games vs teams like Illinois, Michigan, and Kansas, the upper mid level teams. Of course would love to see Texas come and play at BW sites but that is just not very realistic. The number two SEC team lost to Hawaii in the NCAA tournament so on neutral courts anything can happen and that is why I love the preseason tournaments.

LBSU plays Oregon 8/27 in Portland, and likely PSU the same weekend.

Nebraska is a great school to play for RPI purposes. A loss won't hurt you and a win would be astronomical. (Nebraska tends to have at least one bad OOC game every year so you never know)

What Tyler knows is that he wants to have players that want to go to places like Nebraska, and play in front of 8000+. Why would he want to take a team to Michigan and play in venue where the fans are only on one side of the court? Or a match with Kansas and play in front of less than a thousand fans? If you are a college basketball player, you want to play in Cameron Indoor…if you are a football player you want to play in the Big House or any of numerous other SEC venues…in women’s volleyball playing in Devaney is like no other place for a college volleyball player. Tyler knows this, Tyler has said this…I expect this will not be the last time LBSU plays at Devaney under Tyler, I would also expect Cook to bring his team to play at the storied Pyramid. I also expect Nebraska fans will want to see the Huskers play there… I just don’t grasp the concept of not wanting your team to play the “Nebraska’s of the world…ever”…. We’ll see how it goes 🏐

We’ll see how it goes 🏐 the poster did not say he literally did not want to play NEbraska, nor did he literally want to take his team all over to play at Michigan or Kansas et. al, just play teams like MIchigan & Kansas, it's one example, akin to LB playing Notre Dame or Oregon this year the poster was simply addressing that playing mostly 'Nebraskas' in pre-season for now isn't a great idea. the schedule LB has is pretty reasonable, albeit weird in the last two weeks, for some reason Beach had trouble just scheduling matches, to go to Nebraska and only play one match.... I'm sure Nebraska will be coming to the PYramid in 2023 for a LB tournament and likely getting a Pac-12 team for that

Start time for the match at Hawaii is probably wrong. Hawaii home matches normally start at 7pm HT which would be 10pm PDT, not 9pm. I'm sure they'll fix it.
