ACC pre-season poll is out. Louisville picked 1st, Pitt, to be fair, is close behind, and GT not far behind Pitt. 10 1st place votes for UofL, 5 for Pitt. Reasonable, I think. match just started Louisville up 10-5. Kresse starting at MB with Tillman. Lazaro setting. chausse and debeer both playing 6.

Bartlett playing jones back row. looks like Hendricks may have lost her spot this year. chausse looks good in middle back and has hit a few good bits already.

looked good today and swept Mizzou, close in set 2 but Louisville had taken out some key starters. Louisville looks really solid, Scott seems to have taken a step up just all around and Lazaro settling in well. 2nd middle spot still seems a little up in there imo but kresse has started each match and played most. I see more upside in kong but we'll see. should be very interesting to see this team play some of the top teams they have coming up

I have confidence that she will be running a great offense by conference play, she is very good though and a strong server too |

Going to find out how good we are. Three ranked teams this week going to have to win the last five pts in sets which is something this team was very good at last year. Western Kentucky will be out for blood hopefully we can hold them off.

With the exception of the "Xavier or Lipscomb" match, *all* of the rest of our non-conference schedule was in the pre-season Top 25. No one can accuse DBK of a scheduling cakewalk, that's for sure. |

Really haven't had a close set yet. We'll see how good they are when they get pushed. This weekend will be a huge test and I'm sure we'll learn alot about how good we can be

Their blocking and floor defense is going to be one of the best in the country this year. If they can get Aiko going off on the right side they’ll be in the hunt for another final 4 this year. |

I agree that block and defense should still be very good. serving and SR should be as good as they were last year also, Lazaro is a very good server. the pins all need to carry a heavier load this year with Stevenson gone. Tillman too. they aren't going to get much offense out of whoever ends up as the second MB. |
