You try way too hard to come across as an insider when all you do is DM actual insiders and BEG for info. The information was posted in this thread 4 hours before WahineFan44 's post and posted in the 2023 Transfer Portal Tea an hour and a half before that. Nothing about his scream's "insider". Also never claimed to be. I’ve been lucky enough to make some friends on this board who share what info they can with me. |

He is from Santa Barbara and seemed interested in USC for the right price, so yeah, I do. Didn't he just leverage Penn State's interest into a raise and extension? Dan was ready to sign his new contract with PSU but his wife got cold feet and wanted to raise their kids in Pitt, not State College. Location/place to raise a family is important on Dan's list of priorities. |

And it was also his first taste of being courted by high profile schools and programs. Why wouldn't be he accept a dinner invitation to the country club? USC didn't extend an offer, and I don't know about Penn St, but it's possible that Pitt simply made him an offer to stay after finding out Penn St might be interested. |

He is from SoCal and his wife is from Oregon and played at Hawaii, so it is not like the west coast is foreign to them and not like they have deep roots in and around Pittsburgh. I certainly have zero personal knowledge what he wants, what his family wants, and whether there is any sort of opt out in his contract. |
