I don’t see IU at the bottom of the league. Their setting is very capable. Middle offense should be a strength. Libero and DS play should be adequate in the Big Ten. Weaknesses are pin attacking, serve receive, and level of emotional confidence. Who's gonna be below them?

Well pin attacking, serve receive, and level of emotional confidence is the only way to actually win in the Big 10 so yea, they may end up in last.

not sure if anyone would watch an IU game but these girls cannot dig to save their life. kinda sad if they think they can dig a big 10 ball if they are struggling this bad in pre season

5-4 now with one of the weakest pre-conference schedules in the Big Ten. NC State isn’t a bad loss but getting swept by SMU and Jacksonville State (while quality wins for them) isn’t a strong start.

IU served tough VS IA. Kept IA OOS and won easily. This very young team appears to be improving, and enjoying playing VB. Tougher competition ahead, but IU seems to be improving. The serving was impressive.
See how they hold it together vs OSU and WI. Don't expect wins, but see how they compete.
Go Hoosiers!

Like a contract year in pro sports, Aird may be saving his best season for his (potentially) last. Can he maneuver his way off the hot seat with a push toward the NCAA Tournament or does he need a bid to survive?

Hi Hoosier fans! Just wondering if anyone has the scoop on Armstrong? Not sure if she’s injured or has just been beaten out for court time this year? She had significant playing time in her first couple years before losing the libero jersey to Cerame- I guess I’m just surprised she isn’t at least in a DS role this year

Indiana is indeed much improved. . . the problem is you can be much improved in the B1G and still be 11th in the conference. . . If they continue to serve as they did against Minnesota they will present problems in many matches. . .

I'm happy for the IU athletes this season. They're about to run a gauntlet through the toughest teams in the conference, and we know how that will probably go, but I think no one would have expected these results. They aren't a complete and utter pushover. Getting Rammelsberg and Geddes back really helped. I like what Cerame is doing on defense and I think the setter Haworth is awesome. Saris is a workhorse.
Go Hoosiers.

Who's gonna be below them? Right now, a few teams. There was conflict within the team. Some speculate the worst, always happens. Regardless good to see IN doing reasonably well and experiencing some success. Not an IN fan, but good to see the players having a positive experience.

Go Hoosiers. There has been some creativity from the coaching staff on their offensive approach despite the injury to their middles. I think allowing Haworth's contribution to the offense has also been a refreshing addition as well. Big weekend in the Mitten State with wins over #25 Michigan and Michigan State. Road wins in general are hard to come by in the B1G but the win at Michigan was the first time the Hoosiers have won against a ranked opponent on the road since 2013. Then to ride the high and finish against Michigan State (which very easily could have been a letdown) was a nice addition to the weekend. Hoosiers better take care of business against Rutgers on Friday. Next five matches look...well...fun? @ Purdue @nebraska @ Wisconsin Penn State @ Minnesota
