Love it. There are some really dynamic players out there that could have great college careers and be impact players that barely get mentioned on here, and it is so unfortunate. I wouldn’t say it’s unfortunate that lots of girls arent mentioned on this particular board (That’s probably more a blessing in disguise). I’d say it speaks to increase in really talented girls that are participating in volleyball now when compared to 10-20 years ago. Lots of players will slip through the cracks of notoriety because there only so many names that can be put on any particular “list”. Plus we all know that the current state of lists, depending on which are being used, have some glaring omissions and rankings that are all over the place due to multiple factors i wont go into. The game continues to grow in such a way that its hard for those that are interested to keep up. The important thing is that if you can play, some coach will find you. The onus on finding those diamonds in the rough falls squarely on the shoulders of coaching staffs all over the country and PSA’s to provide film and send out scores of emails.

Sometimes they find you after you walk on somewhere else. I know Zoe Fleck didn't have any scholarship offers until after her first season at UCSB, when she was able to transfer to her dream school at UCLA.

I’m just going by what she said in her interview. I’ll admit I haven’t hired a private detective to cross reference it. Regardless of how true it is, the general theme of she turned out to be better than what her high school ranking would indicate was true. Also, I liked her narrative of being able to attend her favorite school growing up after her successful freshman year at UCSB. So regardless of which part of that isn’t true, it’s true enough.

From what I've seen, unless you are 6'3"+, you aren't getting much recognition as a MB. A shame imo. Especially when there are >6'0 middles in the game killing it rn... Ignash is going to be a terror in college once focused on just volleyball too

I don’t think she was even their libero her freshman year. talk about dedication to improvement!! she’s such a stud.

Bump. Who is going to be the #1 recruit for this class? I think this upcoming club season will likely decide that... mullen, vanderwaal, Flynn, sigler, and parks off the top of my head are all very good and will finish in the top 10 overall imo, they're development through club this year and performance next summer with usa will be a good indicator of who the 'best' is

Also, I mentioned her earlier this year, but I'm going to continue to hype the hell out of Lucy Chertock. This girl is a baller. One of the best out of system/high hands attacker in the class. Georgia Watson (Opp/OH) is someone else who is under the radar. She has a heavy arm: www.instagram.com/reel/CrT_01kuXuE/?igshid=ZWQyN2ExYTkwZQ==Already committed to Kentucky, right?
