The only thing that could possibly have made this better would be to have won it in Chavez Ravine.

What a choke job by the Yankees. I was hoping for a Game 6, but oh well.

Vin Scully is smiling down. 😀 Fernando also.

Vin Scully is smiling down. 😀 Pretty sure he was still doing the play-by-play for everyone up there.

Another disappointing post season performance by Choke-rod Jr, I mean Judge.

No surprise that Freeman is the World Series MVP.

Vin Scully is smiling down. 😀 Fernando also. BTW: I was just watching a Vin Scully tribute to Fernando One year he had 8 shutouts. Another year he had 20 complete games. Completely unheard of today.

What a choke job by the Yankees. I was hoping for a Game 6, but oh well. I initially wanted it to go back to LA, but after the assault on Betts last night, I wanted them to end it in Yankee stadium

What was Judge's performance this post-season? 3 hits including 1 hr in 10 games? Infinitely better than what I would have done, but he's being paid some big $$ to perform. Wonder of Boone's job is safe.

Read a comment on ESPN that Dodgers was using their 7th pitcher to close out the game, that their relief pitchers arms are worn out if they're using this many pitchers. Had the Yankees won game 5, could they have won 6 and 7 due to a worn out Dodgers bullpen?

Had the Yankees won game 5, could they have won 6 and 7 due to a worn out Dodgers bullpen? Before Game 5, I felt confident that one of the three Dodgers starters, Flahertty, Yamamoto and Buchner would have great stuff and win the deciding game for the Dodgers. Flaherty didn’t have it tonight but the Yankees gave the game away. The travel day between games 5 and 6 would have allowed the relievers to get enough rest. The fact that Treinen pitched more than 2 innings tonight showed that everyone has to empty the tank at the end of the season.

The Yankees 100% blew this game (Cole being too lazy to cover first base was absurd). All of the pressure would be on the Dodgers if it goes back to Los Angeles. They'd still only need to win one game instead of both, so the Dodgers would be favored. But I think the Yankees would have a shot.

I think Betts wins that race to the bag over Cole.
