I have a hard time seeing the US medal so long as Speraw is still the coach. FYI, US men won 1 Olympic medal, 1 World Championship medal, 2 World Cup medals and several World League and VNl medals under Speraw. All of these happened with a talent pool of 40-something pro players. Why should a country with a smaller talent pool than Thailand win ANY medal in the first place? If they don’t, just take it as it is. The 08 Olympic Champion squad plus Anderson didn’t win anything in 09-12.

Oof these are not spread out like the women's games. shameful really...what's the reason? My guess is because both of the locations for men’s are in similar time zones. If I’m googling correctly, Brasília is only one hour ahead of EST / Ottawa time. And I’m sure both locations wanted to schedule the games at reasonable times for viewership / ticket sales.
