Yep, here we go again. Man I wish tryouts weren't until after High School season like the old days. Feels really bad to be doing this 2 days after nationals.

Players, coaches, and parents are all burnt out. We need down time. I saw A5 announced their 14s teams yesterday and I was just so over it I couldn’t even be interested. |

Let the chaos begin continue... Chaos for tryouts should be over. Tomorrow just seems to be a formality. Top teams are already picked unless someone goes awol. |

I’m surprised that Suli Davis didn’t end up on skyline as well I’m not sure about Suli but it looks like Drive’s lib is on TAV 17 Black, another from drive is at madfrog, I’m still looking around instagram bios lol |

What’s the update? On paper who should have the best 15s, 16s, and 17s teams now that tryouts have finished?

I've heard these early tryouts and forced early decisions ALSO apply to 12 yr olds as well in NT!!! Leading to several amazingly talented young players transferring to different clubs. I am not from that area so maybe someone here who is can confirm this? Here in So Cal 12-14 tryouts are in October.

So clearly they've already held tryouts and picked their 12U teams. Middle school age kids can grow so much during their school seasons. I really wish clubs would at least wait until the fall to place the middle school age kids. Crazy! |

What’s the update? On paper who should have the best 15s, 16s, and 17s teams now that tryouts have finished? I'm still checking club websites for '23-'24 rosters and it looks like Madfrog's are available under the "Teams" tab. Some names that stand out to me: Skylar Jackson (2026) who just won the National Championship in 15 Open with Dallas Skyline is now on Madfrog 16N Green LoLo Lambert (OH/Arkansas), Lilly Croshaw (OPP/Illinois State) have moved to Madfrog 18N Green from Drive Nation 17 Red 18N Green also added 6'5" uncommitted MB Bennett Trubey from Skyline 17 Black and Kennedy Washington (MB/San Diego) from TAV 16 Black (but she's still graduating in 2024 so she must be young) From other various Instagram sleuthing: Alex Richter (Georgia) from Drive Nation 16 Red -> TAV Brianna Watson (LSU) from Drive Nation 17 Red -> Skyline 18 Royal Vivian Parker (Uncommitted '24) started with DN 17 Red and finished with Fieldhouse 17 Ikaika -> TAV 18 Blue Shelby Burriss (Uncommitted '25) from Drive Nation 17 Red -> TAV 17 Black Taryn Morris (Uncommitted '25) from Drive Nation 16 Red -> TAV Sarah Mendoza (Uncommitted '25) from Drive Nation 16 Red -> TAV 17 Black **if there isn't a team listed after the club then I couldn't find their specific team online but I would imagine most of these caliber players will be on one of the two open level TAV 17's teams And then the picture posted on here earlier of some of Ping's Skyline 17 Royal (first two from Drive Nation 16 Red & rest from Skyline 16 Royal): Zoe Gillen-Malveaux - MB (uncommitted) Sophia Thornburg - OH (Notre Dame) Bella Ocampo - OH (Loyola Marymount) Taylor Cook - S (uncommitted) Chichi Nnaji - MB/OPP (uncommitted) Kaelynn Sims - MB/OPP (UNLV) blackiechan1999 What'd I miss? |
