duncs "efforts" here today explain exactly why Dems lose elections. 😂 But they don’t. They have won 7 of the last 8 (87.5%) presidential elections in popularity. But have only held the office for 62.5% of the time. The vote for senators in the last 6 years (all 100 seats) has been democrats 140 million to 110 million, yet it is 50-50. We have a terrible system. It started with women and black people not being allowed to vote and has continued since. I don't know if anyone addressed this, but haven't both of those things been corrected? The system, although not perfect, has allowed for correction in the past and will hopefully do so again in the future when warranted. Again, I apologize if this has been covered already. |

What part of a well regulated militia gives individuals the rights to carry a gun? Bear arms does. Back in the day of the founders, a well regulated militia could only come into existence by recruiting members of the armed public. Therefore, bear arms indeed expressed the desire of the founders that the public continue to possess, maintain, practice with, guns (arms). I agree that such a sentiment is not relevant in modern times and with the country having a (large) standing, professional military. But until the constitution is amended, to correct that, the language must stand and be interpreted as the founders originally desired.
This language stands on classrooms full of dead children. Our system of government is broken to the point of never again having an amendment to our constitution. Why would any sane person support this? |

The Arizona legislature was busy passing a right-wing school voucher bill at the time. I guess all I can say about this is that the protestors really need to start by voting out the rather extreme AZ GOP legislators. Remember, AZ is where the state legislature paid for that farcical "recount" fiasco where they hired the "Cyberninjas" to do stuff like test the ballots to see if they had bamboo fibers in them. It's like a super-storm of right-wing politics there. |

I love the double standard, it’s freaking hilarious. You were absolutely OK with putting up a giant fence around the United States capital because that ‘out of control’ MAGA crowd could kill people at any time,but …….God forbid we keep peace in any other state capital.
