Be smart enough to get on birth control or use a condom. what about those that aren't smart enough to get on birth control or use a condom. lol do you want to ban those people? and what do they do when birth control gets banned? My niece works for those agencies and birth control is readily available for people who are mentally challenged. That’s not going to change.

That's what Republicans are coming after next, birth control. Then once again only the rich will have access. They are not going to go after birth control for crying out loud. You also have the option of a condom or don’t have sex at all. That’s what separates us from the animals. Thomas specifically talked about going after contraception (and same sex marriage) in his opinion today. Multiple GOP senators and soon to be senators have talked about going after contraception.

So?
Their states won't be able to stop their residents from getting the pills by mail, from states that allow and protect that cottage industry that will pop up.
Practically, nonissue. All about ideology, as ever.

The justices themselves said it was "settled law" when being questioned before being appointed. Well look what happened...

I'm talking about bernie supporters who refused to vote for Hillary because Bernie was not the nominee. If you don't vote you reap what you sow, Then they protest AFTER the fact. That the following three things happened leading up to 2016: - Biden decided not to run - Bernie ran and had as popular of a campaign as he did - Hillary beat out the rest, and it was assumed she would beat out Trump
is entirely why this country currently sits where it does.
Any one of those three doesn't happen, and we're midway through the second term of the Dem 2016 winner, with a 6-3 Dem appointed SCOTUS.
I'm curious about your opinion... Would it be fair to also cite the Dems bending over backwards to make sure HRC was their candidate; also played into our current situation? I have to wonder how much the people who protest the current packing of the court, would be protesting if THAT had happened.

Bicameral legislature is bad, no direct election of senators is bad, making the president both head of state and head of government is bad. It's such an obviously and objectively bad system ... that the country is many times richer and more powerful than the UK. Hmmmm... That's not the measure of a healthy and just society. It's also as much an accident of geography as anything and wasn't really true until the 20th century. The entire thing is specifically designed to dissipate and diffuse democratic impulses. Mob rule is not better. And aristocracy is? Democracy isn't mob rule. As I said already, correcting the single biggest injustice in american history was made possible almost entirely through extraconstitutional acts.

Who's not getting abortoins? People living in states like Missouri that don't have the money to travel out of state to get one. Rich Republicans still will, though. I just saw that, awesome! So now it's only rich republicans. Got it. Are you taking the same angle as the left takes with "voter suppression"? Only rich white people have drivers licenses, computers and can find transportation to vote.

This does not outlaw abortion. It simply gives the options back to the states and allows them to make those decisions. That’s the way it should’ve been in the first place.

But they all said it was "settled law." Until now. Under oath. So as far as I can tell, everything's on the table.

Don't confuse the issue. For the most part, only rich people will get abortions. Period. And let's just wait until states that outlaw abortions go after people for going to get them in another state. You KNOW that will happen next.

I would be giving out the morning after pill like candy, that’s a decision I could live with.
