Portland takes the 1st set over Pacific, 25-16. Pacific had a slight lead until about midway through when Portland took a 15-14 lead into the media TO. After that it was all Portland as Pacific only managed 2 more points for the set.

Second set is a different story. Pacific built a 4-point lead 11-4 forcing Portland's 1st TO. Portland was able to close to 9-11 after the 1st TO, but then Pacific built a 7-point lead, 18-11, forcing Portland's 2nd TO. Pacific scored three more points to make it 21-11 before Portland finally stopped the bleeding and has reeled off three of ther own to make it 21-14 for Pacific. Pacific calls TO after Portland closes to within five points, 22-17. Pacific has 10 more kills than Portland, 24-14. Kumanova & Kabengele have 7 apiece, while Edwards has 6. Jayde Haris has 5 for Portland and no one else has more than 2 at this point. Pacific calls 2nd TO again. Now a 2-point set, 22-20, after three straight errors from Pacific.
Maui Robins ace. Lead is down to one, 22-21
Tough serve from Robins. Out of system easy hit by Pacific. Pacific blocks but it's picked up. Free ball to Pacific. Kambengele hits wide... or does she. Pacific thinks it's touched. Challenge on the court. 22-22 for the moment. Can't really tell at all from the video they showed. It's not clear enough or close enough. Call stands. 22s.
Harris blocked. Pacific finally gets another point, 23-22
Kabengele SE. 23s
Rajkovic middle kill. Portland 24-23. Set point Portland
Charity Bradley SE. 24s
Harris kill. Miscommunication from Pacific as they could have dug it easily. Portland 25-24. Set point #2 for Portland
Edwards off the block kill. 25s
Edwards blocked. 26-25. Portland set point #3
Harris SE. 26s
Elin Larsson RS wide attack. Pacific 27-26. Set point #1
Rajkovic middle kill. 27s
Grace Zilbert SE. Pacific 28-27 Pacific set point #2
Kabengele blocked. 28s
Kumanova kill. Pacific 29-28 Pacific set point #3
Kumanova high swing touched. Pacific wins it after all that, 30-28
Match tied 1-1

Second set is a different story....
Wow. Pacific had a 21-14 lead in the set and had to get to 30 points to take the set. Looks like it's tied at 8-8 in the third set.

LMU out to a 15-9 lead over San Diego?? And I don't see Klemp in the lineup for LMU. Someone mentioned she appeared to have gotten hurt (ankle?) late in the last LMU match.

Pacific 19-16 over Portland in the 3rd.
BYU takes set one, 25-22, at Pepperdine. Apparently W. Bower did warm up, but Abbie Taylor is setting so far.
Gonzage trailed early but comes back to win set one at St. Mary's, 25-23
San Diego has tied it up at Loyola Marymount. 19s

Loyola Marymount wins set one over San Diego, 25-20.
With strong serving Pepperdine sprints to a 5-1 lead over BYU in the 2nd set. TO BYU
Pacific takes set three over Portland, 25-17. That second set loss might have been too much for the Pilots. Pacific 2-1

Well BYU went on a 6-point run after the TO to lead Pepperdine 7-5 in the 2nd. Now it's Pepperdine's turn for a TO.

Portland hanging tough in set four against Pacific. It was tied at 15, but now Pacific leads 21-18.
BYU wins set two, 25-21. Gneiting hit an overpass long, but BYU challenged for a touch and it was reversed. Instead of being 21-19 for BYU, it was then 22-18. They coasted to the win after that. Livingston has 13 kills hitting .500. Gneiting with 7 hitting .778. Chilingworth has 7 for Pepperdine.
St. Mary's has evened their match with Gonzga at 1-1, winning set two, 25-19.
San Diego and Loyola Marymount battling to a 22-all tie in the 2nd set.

And Portland once again comes back in a set to take the lead late in set four, 23-22. You gotta admire that!
Portland and Pacific tied at 25 now. Both had set points, but couldn't convert. San Diego with a late surge to win set two, 25-22, ties the match 1-1 at LMU.

Wow! Portland does it. Going 5. Comes back and takes set four in overtime, 27-25. What fight from the Pilots!
Jayde Harris and Charity Bradley lead the way with 11 each for the Pilots. For Pacific Kumanova has 19, Kabengele 15, and Edwards 12.

Portland took the fourth set 27-25 to send that match to 5. Glad I didn't have to guess the total score!
I just realized that Archer is setting this BYU match for Pepperdine, rather than Zelaya... injury? choice? giving her experience for the future?

I've always thought Zelaya is too unreliable.

Behind Emma Ammerman serving Pepperdine closes to 15-14.
Pepperdine calls TO down 16-18 in set three.
LMU has a 17-10 lead over San Diego in the 3rd set. LMU looking really sharp.
St. Mary's now leads Gonzaga 2-1 behind a 25-18 3rd set.
