TSU closing the gap, but then an SE, 21-18.
Stanford should be scoring more efficiently on all these free balls.
TSU TO, 22-18.

Also (earlier), recognize when it's a net violation. Listening to the Jemisons on KZSU while watching ESPN+. Doing this completely changed my enjoyment level. The tv announcer was just not a vball guy. And, hearing Meghan is a huge treat. Still listening now. Any idea if she'll be doing more of this?

Less than 200 miles from Memphis to Nashville, so easy for them to get to.

Also (earlier), recognize when it's a net violation. Listening to the Jemisons on KZSU while watching ESPN+. They made a great duo calling the matches yesterday and today. King Jemison was very good covering play-by-play and gave out backgrounds, stats, scores, asking Meghan for insights, etc. Quite surprising since this was the first time I heard him called a match. He was excellent. Meghan also gave good analysis. Hope they will do it again together in future matches since now they are married. 😊

Anyone else listen to the KZSU broadcast yesterday and notice he at one point referred to her as “Meghan McClure” and forgot to add his own last name? 😂
He quickly corrected himself.

He covered everything quite well, incl. plays and names from other team for every point. I enjoyed listening to both of them.

Stanford finishes with a 4-0 serving run by Oglivie and they take set 3 with their rag tag lineup 25-18. Here are a few prominent stats that jumped-out-at-me. Miner: 34 A; 6D; .333 (1-0-3). Kipp: .433 (14-1-30); 2 SA (aces), 1 SE (error); 1 stuff block, 6 total B; 4 D; 19.5 points. Rubin had a rough day (save it for UF!): -.091 (2-3-11); 2 TBk; 1 SE; 1 RE; 5 D. Francis: .385 (7-2-13); 5 TBk; 9.5 points. And Baird-being-Caitie: .308 (6-2-13); 3(!) SA; 6 D; 9.5 pts. Baird, Vicini and Rubin were pulled for the 3rd set.

This reminded me, in a funny, circuitous way, of 2018 when Merete Lutz did a solo commentary of an exhibition match between SU and some eastern European team (Serbia I vaguely recall?). She was good!
