Huseman's line of 7K-3E-10TA is not too bad. Not heavy volume, but considering what we've seen recently.

Gophs hitting 297 now, not bad. A little lopsided by sets, though:
1 - .154
2 - .333
3 - .353
4 - .312

30 attack errors 6 service errors 6 reception errors, 2 block errors, 2 ball handling errors 46 points off of errors, Baylor gave up almost 2 sets worth of errors.... I wonder what the root of the offensive errors is. Bad setting? Over aggressiveness? Poor decision making? Intimidation of the block? Baylor cuts the errors by even just 25% and it’s a completely different match. |

Baylor cuts the errors by even just 25% and it’s a completely different match. yeah well 15 of those hitting errors were Minnesota blocks- so credit to them on that one, but they still hit 15 more balls out of bounds, which that could be credited to youth and block intimidation! |

Eye test is Wenaas and Landfair deserved their respective stat lines - Jenna taking it and Landfair kind of self inflicted. Hanson looked great in limited time

Go crazy middles! Love to see that evolution and good on Mel for putting in the work to make that happen. Carter Booth is going to be a problem. Can’t wait for Kenny to join the lineup sometime down the road to make it 2 formidable freshman.

We have now seen our starting lineup except for maybe the RS and what life without Samedy is like. Can't wait to actually watch a match.

Shaffmaster had some nice stats besides her sets: 4 kills in 7 attempts for .571, 2 aces, 6 blocking assists, and 9 digs.

Nice balance: Four Gophers scored in double figures, and Shaffmaster had nine.

Those blocks could also be tied into the offensive woes though. Trap sets, mismanaged swings, etc. That’s part of the question- why is Baylor getting blocked 15 times? |
