It's like we are all in this together now. Question for discussion - Will conference tournament games be pickable? Good luck. It's only going to get tougher from here. There are enough conference tournaments, I would think you have to include them. I don't see any way you could pick past the first round, since only the first round is set, but I also can't see that you would want to pick past the first round because the matches would be too close.

Yes, we'll have to allow conference tournament games since there won't be as many regular-season matches to pick from.

Hartford??? Hartford is an odd case where they’re reclassifying to D3. They won’t join that until the 2023-24 season so I find it an edge case, especially when like 3/4 of Hartford’s opponents are D1 schools. They’ve been in picks in previous weeks too

Per their own website (link in post above), Hartford won't have "active membership" in D3 until 2025-26, though they begin competing in their new D3 conference next season. The same website states that in 2022-23 "Hartford remains Division 1."
So I would think Hartford qualifies as a legal pick in this contest. The Hawks have been picked to lose 7 times previously throughout the contest... One pick was disallowed because the predicted victor, Smith College, is in D3. The other 6 times Hartford was allowed to be picked.
To anyone questioning whether picking Hartford lies within the "spirit of the contest," I surmise that it does, because they have 1 more D1 win than MVSU and SC State, who have been picked many times throughout the contest. They have 6 more set wins (in D1 matches) than MVSU and SC State, and only 1 fewer set win than Manhattan.
This season, Hartford returned four upper-class starters who almost certainly remain on scholarship. The rest of their team consists of freshmen and a junior non-scholarship reserve.
Getting us to learn about Hartford's transition is another example of how this contest spreads knowledge of NCAA volleyball.
Off topic: I have a soft spot for Hartford because I took a grad class there.

South Dakota plays St Thomas on the 5th, and Western Illinois on the 3rd And the Jackrabbits do the opposite. Was trying to help you, but obviously I need Remedial Reading 101 and missed the "St" part.
