Georgia Tech not looking good with their attack. I don't know what their attack percentage is, but it can't be good. Sloppy with their serve receive, too.

This is slightly shocking. Still early, though. But this set has not gone the way I expected.

BTW, it's not so much that Ole Miss looks so good. I mean, they're doing fine.
But Georgia Tech looks gawdawful. I've got to think they turn things around in this 2nd set.

Ole Miss impressing the hell out of me that first set. Great serving, great defense (the digs by the setter 😳) and very smart shots across the board. Banwarth has lit the fire under this team! Can they keep it up??

Can they keep it up?? You think? I mean, impressive result. I saw Georgia Tech have no one other than Bergman who looked like they even wanted to be terminal. A lot of tips on both sides. Georgia Tech couldn’t serve receive to save their lives. If Ole Miss repeats this result in the 2nd set I’ll have to change my tune some. But Georgia Tech simply has to step it up a notch. Very disappointed in their first set of the year. Let’s see how this next one goes. |
