Ole Miss impressing the hell out of me that first set. Great serving, great defense (the digs by the setter 😳) and very smart shots across the board. Banwarth has lit the fire under this team! Can they keep it up?? You think? I mean, impressive result. I saw Georgia Tech have no one other than Bergman who looked like they even wanted to be terminal. A lot of tips on both sides. Georgia Tech couldn’t serve receive to save their lives. If Ole Miss repeats this result in the 2nd set I’ll have to change my tune some. But Georgia Tech simply has to step it up a notch. Very disappointed in their first set of the year. Let’s see how this next one goes. The biggest thing that got me was Ole Miss serving GA tech off the court, really hard to get a good swing off when you’re immediately out of system. Ya there were quite a few tips but Ole Miss tips were purposeful and strategic, either getting the kill or getting them out of system. If it’s a fluke so be it but definitely going to keep my eye on this team. |

They should just go to Bergman every set, whether she's in the front court or the back row, up until her arm literally falls off. Whoever has her as their fantasy player should just sit back and have a cigarette.

Bergmann, Bergmann, and more Bergmann. In system, out of system, good set, bad set, doesn't matter.
Just throw the ball up somewhere in her vicinity and watch her dominate the Ole Miss defense.
Still not very impressed with Georgia Tech other than the obvious. They don't look bad, but they don't look anywhere close to the quality team I watched last year. Not a biggie. I'm not coming to conclusions. It's the second set of the first match and they lost a lot. They should have some transitions.
Ole Miss looks like a quality team. They're not wowing me, but they're battling.
