well if you are just looking at aces, possibly, but being high in aces doesn't mean Texas is the best serving team ever. They had 2 aces per set last year but over 3 service errors per set. There are plenty of good serving teams that don't get outright aces, but consistently get their opponents out of system without making tons of service errors. I didn't check *every* team out there but Texas got their opponents to a lower passing grade than pretty much every single top team, and it held when I filtered out the Big 12 teams that suck Well, the comment to which I was replying was that assertion that this Texas team might be the best serving team "ever", not just this year.

Statistically who is the best serving team ever?? Parra, Akana, O'Neal, Eggleston pass the eye test for me and I'm sure I'm missing a couple more. If there's a better 4-6 than that then I'm all ears.

If you're going by the eye test then you need to go back and look at every NCAA team ever - though I imagine you only need to go back about 10-15 years actually. It also seems really weird to say "I'm all ears" after stubbornly sticking to a really wild opinion. I agree that Texas has the potential to serve teams out of the gym this year (not that they need to) and also that "best serving team ever" is a bit silly.

Yeah, it was probably early to make that claim but I wouldn't be surprised if it's the best "ever".

The schedule / guide on my Grande-Astound cable listings is still showing football on FS1 for tonight, not volleyball. I wonder what is going on???!!!

I see the tOSU vs Texas match on FS1 (via Sling) for the Friday night match. However, I checked my Big10 app and I don’t see the Saturday match on there. How about everyone else?

I also know that sometimes our targets in serving have been predictable. Curious if that changes.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but will I be able to watch on FS1 website without any required account or streaming service linked?

I don’t know 100%, but that’s not the way I’d bet The regular Fox channel app works that way, but FS1 is their cable content. It depends on distribution fees for its income. It’s more like ESPN, where you have to input a cable or streaming service credential that carries FS1 in order to access the content. Edit: you should be able to test it. Just try to watch something and see what it says.
