I’m rooting for Orr because she’s a Minnesota girl but she is riding the struggle bus right now… she’s not getting her feet set and squared up and she’s doubling quite a bit. They called it during the Ole Miss match but it was the same in previous matches just not called - I’ll admit, I prefer a match tightly called with doubles, lifts, throws etc, prepare them for international/pro ball - Maybe it’s learning a new system or technique? Maybe mental? I don’t know but right now it’s definitely the Hames/Evans duo for me. Observations, speculations and opinions. There's a reason, not fashion related, Orr is wearing an elastic bandage on nearly the entirety of her left leg. Is that the knee she had surgery on? Is that the only knee that is bothering her. Orr's serving has really improved. Let's see how this 6-2 goes. In a 5-1, if her knees can hold up, she probably sets, but in a 6-2, she maybe a sub.

NE is much more entertaining to watch, more big hits and blocks. How that translates into win & losses and winning tight sets IDK. Coaches get paid for that.
The 6-2 provides a unique opportunity to evaluate the pin hitters in game situations.
Ally, Whitney and Madi are thriving in the 6-2.
Lindsay not so much. Lindsay seems frustrated at times, probably prefer to play more left side. IMO she has the most potential to improve and I think she will.
Coach Cook in his post-game radio interview indicated Whitney needs to improve. Obviously he is pushing her, which IMO indicates how he feels about her potential, her very high potential. Is she the next NE superstar?
