Surprising CU swept Illinois. Tough to play at altitude but didn’t see that coming.

This is the fourth (and I presume last?) year of this annual matchup.
2018: Illinois beat Colorado (and also Washington, and went 32-4 that year) 2019: Illinois lost to Colorado 2020: COVID 2021: Illinois lost to Colorado 2022: Illinois lost to Colorado
This matchup with Colorado was been tough for the Illini.
They also won and then lost and lost to Washington, and as a Husky fan I hope that follows suit as well.
(Iowa has lost all 7 previous matches in this series.)

This is the 8th year - it was Stanford, CU, Illinois, Penn St. before that. CU beat Illinois is 2017 and 2016 too. Illinois won the first two.

Well, OK, but I meant the fourth year for this particular set of four teams. However, the previous four years are relevant to this specific Buff/Illini matchup, sure.

I know it's been said before, but probably bears repeating - what the heck was UCLA doing not playing Hadrych? <3

I know it's been said before, but probably bears repeating - what the heck was UCLA doing not playing Hadrych? <3 I believe she was injured one year, and then ....as it often happens with players/teams... the confidence wasn't there for them to return or the coach already found a replacement they like. She did get PAC-12 Freshman of the Week and had a good few weeks as a freshman though.

Anyway to watch the match tonight online? I was not able to watch it today. Pac12 Network will likely air it again. Sometimes it's on their site too... after a few hours. If you've got Sling, you should be able to watch both matches now, on-demand, through the Pac-12 Insiders channel.

Being an Iowa fan, I've always wondered who decided it was a good idea to be in this tournament. The team never has been on the level of CU or Washington. I think the best they've done 1-3. Seems like some other B1G 10 schools would have been a better fit.

It can also be good for RPI. CU did the last 4 challenge with Illinois and Penn State. Two programs with way more history. I think went 2-2 against both. Play the programs you want to become.

10 minutes to first serve! Fingers crossed for us figuring out the Pac-12 insider stream.
