Big thanks to volleyball303 , pnwvb , Hawk Attack , definitelymaybe , and PointHawks for their help predicting lineups! The lineups are now on the first post and the names are linked to their individual roster entries. *Best of luck to the four teams! *but especially good luck to the Illini : )

From the Iowa perspective after the opening weekend. Hitting %'s after the FIU win & OU loss were not the best. Middles seem to be solid and Onabanjo is providing offense from the right. The team is lacking a terminal left & really needs to stay in system to create offense from that position. A 1-1 split would be considered a bonus in my opinion. They played a few sets in a 6-2 with limited success and seem to be better with Tessier running the show. Will be interesting to see how Barnes handles that and how the team responds after the OU loss.

I put this in the CU Buffs post but here it is here also. Feel free to delete and use your own format. S- Simpson OH- Hadrych OH- Tabron MB- Hart MB- Kuehl OPP- Schneggenburger (my guess is Parker will be the right side when she is healthy. L- Lougeay Parker and DeLuzio were the double sub for Simpson and Schneggenburger late in games. Perry also got time as a serving specialist.

Stoked to see Hadrych in the lineup for Colorado Girl can ball and just needed a chance with a coach who had confidence in her

Stoked to see Hadrych in the lineup for Colorado Girl can ball and just needed a chance with a coach who had confidence in her She is definitely this years Taylor Simpson, Alexa Smith or Leah Clayton. She can do it all. From the few weeks I have seen from her it surprises me she could not crack the line up at UCLA.

I hope ILLINOIS brings it these two matches. Will be a test. Hoping for a split if not 2 wins. 2 losses would not be good.

Washington is hitting at .298 but giving up .290. Their offense is obviously good but is their defense that bad?

CU is 4-1 against Illinois in the last five seasons. Can they keep it going? Last year CU had Clayton and barely won. If Parker is able to start CU has a chance. Otherwise, I think Illinois wins this one. I took Illinois in my weekly predictions.

I'm hoping for a 1-1 from Illinois. Beat Colorado and lose to Washington. If Collins can't play, it may be an 0-2.
