loberg will make her BTN debut as an analyst tomorrow night!! That’s awesome! The sport needs more knowledgeable announcers/commentators, if it’s going to grow. Quite frankly some of the people doing it right now are atrocious. |

Given the ceremony, are doors still opening 1 hour before(@ 7:00)? According to the team twitter account, yes. I'm guessing that they in fact open earlier. (Plus, how with that tightly scripted final 20 minutes of warmup go, if there's a ceremony going on? You make Marquette warm up and then stand around for a half-hour? You don't actually start the match until 8:15 etc?) |

A fair amount of Practice in Madison should have been on serving. 20 service errors is too many. Can't do that again.

A fair amount of Practice in Madison should have been on serving. 20 service errors is too many. Can't do that again. I've attended the open practices before NCAA matches the last couple years they've held them (as well as some practices of the other teams). They spend a good amount of time on serving. And they do something I have not seen the other teams do. They run a string or rope across the net maybe a foot or above the top of the net. And then the players practice aiming to put the ball over the net but under the string/rope. There was a video posted to their twitter account last year (?) showing how very often they manage to hit that target. I'll see if i can find it. |

Maybe I should have clarified… that there ought to be a reserved seating entrance for those who don’t want to wait in line for an hour. |

Badgers in 4... I hope. They cut their service errors in half along with Smreks miscues substantially.. Should be enough against a determined Golden Eagle gang.

Looking forward to hearing what Grace has to say during the game. This is actually a role I had never imagined for Grace. I remember one interview with Salima back in 2019, I think, left her a little tongue tied. I remember Salima laughing about it. It will be interesting. |
