they did it last year, when they had the control of the scheduling. someone is always gonna get the short stick. brutal scene Creighton has had it twice. USC once. Kentucky five times. well. Maybe Kentucky likes the short stick lol |

Kentucky playing Creighton and usc the same day is tragic Creighton having a night game against USC and then 12 hours until Kentucky the next morning is rough too. |

Kentucky is probably the biggest challenge to Creighton and they have not lost to the Wildcats since 2016 (Creighton is 6-0) in the last two years this tourney has been played! |

The idea of packing in 3 competitive matches in 2 days is just no longer a smart scheduling move. I also recall some pretty unbalanced schedules in this one in the past in terms of match times / rest, esp. since this tournament produced so many 5 setters. making excuses already.... If the coaches of the 4 teams involved were too chicken to play 3 matches in 2 days, they could have easily stretched it to a 3rd. But unlike some other schools, they're not afraid of the challenge. |
