Texas looked too elite. The conversation continues if anyone can challenge. Stanford looked good in the final set could never get over the initial 4-0 lead.
The good news Stanford can improve a lot more by December. The passing is still skunky for Stanford and the floor D also didn’t help the blocking wasn’t quite there today lots to improve upon Stanford should focus on winning the PAC and taking care of next weekend they could still garner a top 4 seed.
Texas was good today but come on, Stanford just isn’t great this year
They have a lot of pieces. They look like the best team in the Pac 12 to me. That Florida win, especially overcoming all the SEs and HEs on the Gators home court, impressed me.
But of the three teams Texas has played, Minnesota looked like the most likely top 4 seed/Final Final four team right now.
It's just a snapshot. Plenty of things can change. Players can come on. Connections can be fine tuned.
I think Cardinal has a lot of potential this year. They certainly appear back on the upswing. Which I like. I'm not a Stanford fan per se, but I do like it when they're good.

They aren’t as athletic as Texas which is pretty apparent. If Texas needs more offense out of the second middle, Caffey is warming up. But Bergmark moves laterally quite well and is quicker than i thought. That would still be the separator. Texas has loads of girls with big-time experience. The transfer portal has given Texas five of the nine girls playing regularly.
