very excited for this one
think an interesting subplot is to see which M1 outperforms the other: O'Neal vs Francis
Francis has been putting on a clinic blocking and offensively but there are now three matches worth of scouting material on her. Asjia is probably the most experienced M1 in the country, especially among the top teams.
How effective will Fleck's poaching be against Stanford's aggressive serving? Can Stanford serve effectively enough to put Texas in trouble but also not miss too much?

Kipp vs Eggleston is going to be a great matchup!!! I don’t see these two anywhere near the same level.

To me it will be less interesting if Texas rolls to a 3-0 win. That’s what I’m rooting for, though.
If Texas struggles and Elliott starts pulling Skinner, Phillips, and SKT off the floor, while being random with Parra’s substitution pattern, leaving Caffey on the bench, subbing in Ewert for O’Neal for serving while SKT stays on the floor, and all the other experimentation going on, it will be like that Chinese curse, “May you live in interesting times.”

Texas has never beaten Stanford at Maples Pavilion. Hoping this group can get it done on Sunday.

Skylar did not have as good a night efficiently. Never the less looking forward to the match up.

if kipp and baird are swinging at sets that are coming from good/decent passes, they can be very difficult to stop. if Francis can get involved and rubin can pass well and hit over or around .200 this could be a close match

I regret not taking a chance and picking Stanford at the beginning of the week.
