Is radio coverage a new thing for Gopher VB? If not, I was totally unaware of this.

More than any other matches so far, this should give us an idea of how good (or not so good) the PAC will be this year.

There was one match last year I had to leave early from and was able to catch the last few points on the radio - so it's been around in some capacity prior to this year.

Is radio coverage a new thing for Gopher VB? If not, I was totally unaware of this. It’s come and gone. Back in the early 2000s (maybe even late 90s) away matches were broadcast by a teeny tiny AM station that I could only get if I was parked in my driveway. I spent several evenings camped out in my car listening, for the few away matches I wasn’t attending in person.

Alright, what does everyone think? I’m definitely excited to see Penn State play.
Assuming MN can keep their serves in, I don’t think Stanford will be too much of a challenge. I haven’t seen Oregon play yet so not sure on that one.

I think Minnesota is the better squad, but not by anything approaching an insurmountable margin. I certainly think Stanford is just as good as Florida, and probably better.

The Gophers played about as bad as they could against Florida and still managed a 3-1 win. I feel confident they’ll bounce back - and if they play like themselves I don’t see why Stanford is much more difficult than Florida. But who knows, anything can happen.

You do know that Stanford beat Florida on the road despite giving away an entire game's worth of points in service errors?
