So where does this rank NE next week? Loss at home to #9 Stanford but sweeps at #13 Kentucky the same week #3 Louisville goes to 5 sets with Kentucky. beating Kentucky isn’t impressive anymore

hear me out, what if cook is purposely telling the setters not to set hord until conference to confuse opponents. Outlandish? Yes. But not setting a 4 time all american hardly at all? Equally as crazy. I heard you out, that’s absurd that’s fair 💀

Equally as crazy. Nebraska fans have the most insane theories ever. Blaming the Stanford loss on the football coach being fired and now this lmao Do you realize you’re very much a gibby when it comes to Nebraska, except on the other side of the net so to speak

I wonder if this is the year Kentucky is going to fall back into the pre-Edmond/Lilley era a few nights ago they went 5 with Louisville. People are way too quick to write teams off just bc they look abysmal for a non-con match. It’s early..

yikes. It’s just a non conference game. Kentucky starts conference play after this. And they don’t have Florida until late November. Should be quite the string of wins. Lol and yet they couldn't pick up many "quality" wins.... while past Kentucky teams had at least on big win before conference play. I'd put our big wins this preseason on par with 2018, 2019 and last year. I think this is maybe just the toughest preseason UK has ever scheduled.

I think Neb will switch with louisville. because beyond that everyone in the top ten (except san diego) had a rough week. san diego might go up from #8 to #4 with the sweep of UCLA, but I don't see the coaches putting them ahead of Nebraska

People are way too quick to write teams off just bc they look abysmal for a non-con match. It’s early.. Idk I'm just not used to seeing Kentucky do so poorly in the pre-conference, like Kentucky literally won a National Championship and to go 5-4 precon and I think (?) no ranked wins is kinda nutty. They also went 5 with Lousville at home, I wonder if it was at Louisville if it would've been different. But like I said before, this is very typical of Kentucky to start slow (albeit not this slow) and pick it up during the SEC... so we'll just see.
