Agreeing with the schools Donut has listed, for the most part; here is how I view Nebraska’s record: they’ve beaten Creighton (good), Kentucky (sure), and then a bunch of duds while not totally looking great consistently. If they’d had a San Diego or Ohio State type pre/season schedule, I’m not convinced their record would be that good. They have the chance to prove it during conference, and it’s not much more complicated than that. I’m not even sure Creighton is a good win anymore. They look mediocre af I mean, Pepp could be Nebraska's best win. Pepp has much better wins than either Creighton or Kentucky. They just have the worst loss of the bunch.

While I don't disagree with you (I almost prefer Nebraska to be in #5-8 range) on most of this, I would say Pepperdine is not a dud. Also to say LBSU/LMU are a dud seems a bit harsh to those teams. Though I wouldn't go as far and say they are good lol.

Was hopeful they would be a much nicer resume win but even their 'tough' losses to GT and Illinois look worse than the first weekend. Also is this me trying to push this match thread to 58??? Maybe just maybe

LMU is on the fringe of an at-large right now. LBSU won’t get any favors from the Big West being…a dud.

Pepperdine has W's vs Baylor, @ Washington, @ Minnesota, Neutral vs Wazzu. Two of which were in Donut's list of teams comparable to Nebraska. As was Pepperdine. Seven in the OG group, Nebraska + Wisky and Florida puts Nebraska at worst 10th.
