The OP shows Northwestern’s record as 5-3. They are actually 11-1, only losing a 4-setter to Washington. I agree that if Wisconsin is looking ahead to Sunday, it could be a long night tonight. Hoping for a dominant performance from the Badgers. Yeah, that's the Minnesota record. I imagine Rainbow used the OP for the gopher match thread as template and just didn't get to updating that part. |

I think Wisconsin will win, but it's gonna be a heck of a lot closer than Badger fans will be comfortable with. NW can be legit... keyword can  A bit up & down, but that's OK. Thrilled to think it'll even be competitive tbh! Northwestern took a set off the Badgers last year in Evanston. That's fairly competitive. Oh we are quite used to NW being competitive. Even when they are actually terrible. They won in 5 in 2016 in Evanston against a pretty bad team. At the time the Badgers were projected to be a #2 seed (and were) And that's also with more WI fans in the stands. |
