Like I said earlier, Smrek is playing at the exact same level she was last season. She had a breakout post-season. Not good enough. Wrobel and Demps are ready on a moments notice to replace. Last year she wasn't expected to carry much if any of a load. With her and Franklin so schizo in terms of their attacking accumen we will fall hard against the top tier of Big Ten opponents if we do not level that area off.

From what I have seen this season, Smrek hit over 500 in the middle, and negative from the right. I don't have the numbers, but this comes from my observing memory. From my point of view, Smrek isn't correctly utilized.
When she moves back to the middle position after Hart leaves, she will be our MVP next 2 seasons. Mark my words.
My memory also and many swings / approaches from the right have just looked way off
