Gotta say, this is the most anticipated opening PAC UW/WSU match I can recall.

This one is hard to predict. Both have played well at times, but not consistently. Also, depends on whether WSU has Martin back, and whether WA has Bays/Crenshaw back..

WSU has 3 losses, but they're all "good" losses. At BYU. At Minnesota. And they almost knocked off Pepperdine at Minnesota.
This match should tell us a lot about both of these teams. Is WSU as dangerous as they seem? Has UW fixed some of their pre-conference issues?
(I don't know what Bump the Jam is, but I don't like it already. Now get the *&^% off my lawn.)

14-4.
As of early Weds. morning, the wise poll-takers of VT are voting for a UW win by a margin of 14-4.
While hoping they're correct, I question the overwhelming optimism.

I’m hoping UW is healthy and we get a good match. Washington State is, IMO a very underrated team. If they are clicking on all cylinders, they have good offensive weapons, a solid block and a handful of tough servers.

Bays is warming up. Crenshaw isn't.
