The first set was tied at 17 but then San Diego pulled ahead and now have set point at 24-20.

Welp...LMU has tied it at 24!
For USD, Frohling has 6 kills at .556
For LMU, Geissberger has 5 kills at .400
(I wonder if LMU has someone else they could try at OH. Booth is hitting .065 on the season. She was always thin, but now is skeletal...not the appearance of a healthy athlete.)

LMU had a couple of set points, but made errors, and USD took the first set at 28-26 on a back row hitting violation.

Second set was close again mid-set but USD pulled away to take it 25-18 and go up 2-0.
San Diego's middles are having a great match. Stoner has 10 kills hitting .471 through 2 sets, with 3 blocks, and Blackwell is 3/0/6

looks like USD blew a 5-point lead (20-15) again in set 3. here's my transcript of events after USD's late TO:
uncharacteristic error from blossom...set too low for blackwell to do anything with it, straight into the net and we're tied at 24s.
SE from LMU, and LMU kill. 25s.
SE from USD and Lukes sprays one way out of bounds. SP LMU.
questionable pancake by benbow...is LMU out of challenges? that ball looked like it may have been down but no challenge from LMU. tied at 27.
ANOTHER SE by USD from Lukes...ouch. USD is too high-error right now. Bailed out by Edwards, tied at 28.
LMU kill. SP #3 for the lions. LMU with multiple chances to take the set, Hastings with some incredible digs. But Lukes was unstoppable on the pipe.
Edwards with some nice net play. USD set point. LMU tips, called in but USD saw something...here comes a challenge for the set from Petrie. Unsuccessful. Play continues.
