Whew! My Coogs seriously need to not flirt with disaster like this. That was not comfortable.
Total points was 111-86 for Houston, a 25-point disparity for a 5-setter.
Hitting pct. was .308 to .190
Theut finishes with 22k on .395, Georgiades with 33 digs.

Houston (9-2) at Tulane (5-6) Wed 9/21 2:30pm CT Only making this thread because there is a 2:30pm match on a Wednesday. Why. A conference match. Can anyone explain? With UConn leaving in recent years, there are now eleven teams playing volleyball in the AAC. Each week, there is one set of travel partners that play mid-week. Then on the weekend, the "odd-team-out" (which is Cincinnati) plays the two travel partners, one on Friday and the other on Sunday. Thus, each week each team plays two conference matches. |
