Well she equaled Akana’s kill production in like a fraction of the front row time, so there’s that. Our Brae is not the ticket right now lol It did seem like she was feeling off. Just as we were starting to see her get her numbers/consistency up 😩 |

Anyone have the stats? Seemed like Alexander struggled offensively. As good of blocking Long Beach was, UCSB and Cal Poly are better IJ my opinion.

She did struggle a little bit, and turned it up again near the end. Long Beach started to read her better. Majority of the sets she was getting were not ideal.. overall not a well played match by both sides… |

Wagoner 4 Sets, 16-6-39, .256, 8 D, 1 BS, 0 BA, 17 points Alexander 4 sets, 13-4-38, .237, 13 points Igiede 4 sets, 10-4-23, .261, 2 A, 0 BS, 3 BA, 11.5 points Ham 4 sets, 4-1-7, .429, 9 D, 0 BS, 2 BA, 5 points Akana 3 sets, 4-2-9, .222, 1 A, 4 points Westerberg 4 sets, 3-2-14, .071, 2 A, 4 D, 0 BS, 2 BA, 4 points Lang 4 sets, 1-1-3, .000, 32 A, 13 D, 2 BS, 2 points Ikenaga 4 sets, 10 D, 6 A, 1 SA, 1 point Edmonds 4 sets, 9 D Byrd 1 set, 3 A I'm not sure if I would say Alexander struggled. She was leading everyone in kills in Set 1, I believe, and was 5-0-9 at one point. Her hitting percentage dipped in the third set. There was a rally in which Lang kept setting her consecutively and she was getting soft blocked every time. That rally ended with her getting blocked for an LBSU point. |

I did not know that Jaylen Jordan is that daughter of former UCLA great and beach volleyball Olympian Jenny Johnson Jordan! Loved watching her and Anette Davis play when I was a kid.
