Iowa can give opponents fits if they get their middles going. We need to keep them from getting their middles going.

Trap match set up for Wisconsin. The real trap is on Sunday. Which Wisconsin matches have you NOT called 'trap matches'? LOL

It won’t be for Franklin they need her back row attack. If it happens it would happen for the other outside. Their best all-around player? Losing Franklin back row attack would hurt but you'd get better passing and better floor defense. If you replaced Orzol, who is a better passer and defender than Franklin (and who can also hit out of the back, albeit not as effectively yet (at least eye test) -- what would you gain ? Franklin has twice the amount of kills out of back row than Ozol and their passing/digging is not much different. All a guess. Maybe she starts at Libero. We will see.

Well, they've only been running Orzol out of the BR a lot recently. They're trying to incorporate into their in system attack more. A lot of Franklins wings out of the BR are OOS. Orzol is one of the best passing OHs in the B1G on average. Franklin is OK, but if it's passing we need, a combo of Orzol, GG and Shanel would be pretty awesome - if we go by GGs recent performances at least.

If you think about the passing and defense of the 2019 team and onward - the 'O line' of Clark, Barnes, ME Dodge, etc - you can see the value Sheffield et al place of defense. But OTOH, he's falling in love with back row attacking (as are other coaches; players just getting taller, more athletic?). So in general, you can see both sides of the 'argument'. But my guess is defense wins out, and they go with Bramschriber defense over Franklin attacking. But once more, just a guess.

My guess: we'll see both, maybe off and on depending on what seems to be a stronger need in the moment.

Team chemistry is a huge part of Badger success. If Bramschreiber can add skill without upsetting dynamics, you’ll see her often. If not, it’ll be in a subbing role. GG and Orzol are energy and intensity drivers.

Hopefully this traffic means there will be a good crowd. Backed up on 80 waiting to take the exit.
